God is doing wonderful things through our talented faculty, and word has spread throughout the area about the quality of education and the exceptional environment we provide at ECS. Each class, each room, and each child offers us an opportunity to celebrate the many colors and textures of education with a hands-on approach to learning that leaves our students wanting more. Our 260-acre camous offers many learning opportunities in outdoor and environmental education that changes with each season.
At Emmanuel Christian we strive to teach children to think critically about their world and discover their purpose as a Christian in it, and we hope they will have learned how to think "Christianly" about their world. We hope that when a child graduates from ECS that they will make a lasting impact on their culture for Christ.
Many of our graduates have become civic leaders, doctors, attorneys, and business leaders in the community and beyond. All of our graduates have gained successful admission to the colleges of their choice.
We believe we offer the best opportunity for your child to receive a quality education in a Christian context at Emmanuel Christian. Our students and parents rave about the personal touch they get each day, and the challenges learned in school reach far beyond the classroom. This year, our fourth grade will travel to the Barrier Islands for a three-day excursion, while the fifth grade journeys to Washington DC again this year. Our senior class will make its annual Mission Trip, this year to the Dominican Republic.
Perhaps the most exciting element awaiting ECS in the fall of 2008 will be the opportunity to earn college credit as they take courses in their junior and senior year at Emmanuel Christian. Working in partnership with Florence Darlington Technical College, students will be able to take classes on and off-campus that will transfer to any four-year college or university through our unique dual enrollment program.
